Cookie Jarvis "Cancer Free" After Treatment
Eating great Cookie Jarvis, known for wearing a trench coat listing all of his victories, today learned that he is cancer free after treatment for thyroid cancer.
Jarvis was diagnosed with thyroid cancer early in the year and had surgery to remove his thyroid, followed by radiation therapy. A full body scan today revealed no cancer cells in his body.
When reached for an update, Jarvis simply said: "Jarvis is cancer free."
"All of his friends and admirers sighed in relief when they heard this great news," said MLE Chair George Shea.
Jarvis, a future hall of famer by all accounts, approached the cancer battle with the same determination and resolution that he brought to the eating table.
